Department of Accounting

Mission Statement

The mission of the Department of Accounting is to prepare students for entry level positions in accounting and business careers and to enhance opportunities for our students to become successful and ethical leaders. To this end, our programs emphasize the integration of technology into all levels of course work.

To achieve our mission, we strive to provide:

Excellence in teaching and learning
Applied scholarly inquiry
Service to the profession and to regional constituencies
