Department of Accounting

Online Accounting Program

This program is designed to allow people with a busy schedule the flexibility to persue an education in Accounting. One direction these classes can lead you is an Accounting Concentration in our MBA program. Ths is a popular choice for those with a degreein a different area, looking to change careers, and needing to meet the requirements for the CPA Exam. If you are not looking for an MBA, these classes can get you on your way for meeting the requirements of the CPA exam or get you started on an undergraduate degree in Accounting.
Our online program may be started in either the Summer or Fall semester. You must have reached Jr. status (60+ hrs.) and have the course equivalents of Financial Accounting Principles and Managerial Accounting Principles classes. If you have not had these yet, they are available as an online class through the Regents Online Degree Program. Our online classes are spread over 3 semesters (1 year), every class may not necessarily be available each semester. Note that Accounting 3170 & 3180 is also commonly referred to as Intermediate Accounting I & II.
