Department of Accounting: Program of Continuing Education for Practitioners
Partnering with the IRS, Farm Bureau, UT Extension Services, the Tennessee Department of Revenue, the Upper Cumberland Chapter of the TSCPA, the statewide TSCPA organization, and others, the department is currently planning the following CE events for 2010-2011.
Tennessee Business Tax Seminar
8/23/2011 (8 hours of CE): 8:15 a.m. – 5 p.m.
TTU's Johnson Hall Room 218
Cost & Registration: $145. In advance: TTU’s Extended Programs and Regional Development (www.tntech.edu/eprd or 931-372-3306). Onsite registration: $155. Onsite Registration 7:30-8:15 AM on 8/23/2011. Presented by the Tennessee Department of Revenue. Net proceeds donated to a scholarship fund for TTU accounting students. Lunch & snacks provided.
Ethics (including 1 Hour of Tennessee Specific Ethics)
10/18/2011 (4 hours of CE): Noon – 4:45 p.m.
Tech Pride Room, Roaden University Center
Cost: $75. Registration will be on a walk-in basis (no reservations taken or required). A traditional annual ethics update presented by the TSCPA. Lunch served at 12 noon and snacks provided; CE program starts at 12:45 p.m.
