These scholarships are awarded to incoming freshman students (2006 Tennessee high school graduates) who apply for admission and for scholarships by the December 15 scholarship deadline. This award is renewable for up to three additional years (four years total), as long as the student maintains a 3.0 cumulative grade point average and full-time status (minimum 12 credit hours each semester).

If funds are available for the 2006-2007 Academic year, the Admission Academic Awards ($1,000/year, renewable for three additional years) are based on the following criteria:

26-27 ACT composite score and 3.50-4.0 GPA
