A "transfer" student is one who has earned
24 semester hours of degree credit or the equivalent in another
college or university. Transfer students who have completed courses
at another college or university should use the following information
to apply to TTU.
Our online application for Fall 2008 is available (starting September 17th, 2007). Click here for instructions...
If you have any questions, please contact the Office
of Admissions.
| Step 1 - Apply
for Admission |
| |
Complete and
mail the application
for undergraduate admissions along with the $15 application
fee - or you can apply
online.
Candidates for admission to the University
are encouraged to complete an application as early as possible. |
| |
| |
| Step 2 - Request official
transcripts |
| |
Request that each
institution you previously attended mail official transcripts
of all work completed. (Request a partial transcript if you
are presently enrolled in another institution.) Request the
mailing of a final transcript when all work is completed.
Transcripts of all work attempted at the college level must
be furnished.
All transcripts must be sent directly from other
institutions to TTU's Office of Undergraduate Admissions.
(See address in Step 3).
Starting with Fall 2008: Request your official high school transcripts be sent directly
to TTU, regardless of the number of college credit hours you have earned.
For Summer 2008: If you have less than 60 transferrable college credit hours, you will also need to request your official high school transcripts be mailed to TTU.
NOTE: Hand-delivered transcripts
or faxed copies of transcripts are not considered official
for admission purposes. To be considered as "official
transcripts", they must be mailed via US Postal Mail
or sent electronically via EDI.
Before entering the University, students
must fill out and return the Student
Health Form (PDF) and the Meningitis/Hepatitis
Form (PDF) .
