The purpose of the Agricultural Council is to promote and advance the academic programs within the School of Agriculture and to work with all organizations within the School of Agriculture to promote activities involving all majors. The two main activities of the Ag. Council are to sponsor a School of Agriculture fall picnic and to host the annual School of Agriculture awards banquet each spring.
The membership of the Agricultural Council is made up of an elected representative from each of the other School of Agriculture clubs and organizations, the editor of the "Aggie Contact," and the Student Government Association Agriculture senator.
