Block & Bridle Club

The TTU Chapter of the Block and Bridle Club was chartered in 1947 and is affiliated with the national Block and Bridle Club. The club provides students opportunity to develop leadership skills and supports service and educational activities related to the livestock industry.

The Block represents the commercial aspects of livestock production; whereas, the Bridle is the symbol for self-control and responsibility. Students having interests in livestock are eligible for membership. The club sponsors an annual membership drive, steak dinner and auction, and participates in regional and local livestock clinics, judging contests, sales and other local events occurring at TTU facilities.
