Distinguished and Outstanding Service Awards

Alumni awards are given to individuals who have demonstrated professional excellence by achieving success and recognition such as to effect great pride among the faculty, students, and alumni of TTU.

The nominees must be graduates of Tennessee Tech or those who completed their pre-professional program at TTU and then earned their professional degree(s) elsewhere. Recipients are generally highly recognized scholars, writers, actors, artists, musicians, entertainers, business executives, scientists, politicians, or persons of comparable stature, who clearly exemplify the excellence to which the University is so deeply committed.

Nominations will be retained for one year following the year of nomination. Thereafter, a new nomination is required. Updated information on previously submitted nominees will be accepted prior to the October 15 deadline.
