Retired TTU Professor Makes
Significant Bequest to English Department
Retired Tennessee Tech University
English Professor William Warren Jenkins dedicated his life to
education. From his early years as an elementary school teacher
to his career at the university, Jenkins touched the lives of
countless young men and women — and even now, he continues
to influence generations of students through a estate gift of
more than $200,000 to benefit the Department of English.

Golden Eagleyes finish second
at 2005 O'Reilly OVC Rifle Championships
Senior Chris Dautel was named to
both the smallbore and air rifle All-OVC teams, and Ryan Headlee
was named All-OVC in the smallbore competition, as Tennessee Tech
finished second at the 2005 O'Reilly OVC Rifle Championships over
the weekend.

Jenkins named Honorable Mention
on 2004-05 AP All-America Team
Willie Jenkins
was voted by coaches and media alike as the top basketball player
in the Ohio Valley Conference this past season. Now he has been
recognized nationally as one of the top players in the country,
as he was named honorable mention on the 2004-05 AP All-America
Team.
