At the Bryan Fine Arts Center and Foundation Hall in Cookeville, and the Appalachian Center for Craft near Smithville, the Art Department at TTU offers superior arts education, arts programming, and outreach. Outstanding faculty offer specialized programs in art education, painting, and clay, fibers, glass, metals and wood. Exhibitions, and workshops take place year round at both facilities.

2013 High School Summer Craft Residency
“Dynamic Form and Surface in Craft”
June 1 – 11, 2013
The Appalachian Center for Craft is providing an intensive 10-day craft studio residency to 8 Tennessee high school art programs June 1 – 11. The program is designed to provide high quality craft instruction to educators and students in the state of Tennessee. Through a competitive application process, 8 art educators and 2 of their students will be selected to receive full scholarships to attend the craft residency.
