Eprintinfo
Because of the way eprint works with the various systems, we have different passwords for each repository in eprint.
The Banner Eprint Repositories which are:
- Banner HR
- Banner Finance
- Banner Financial Aid
- Banner Student
All use the BANNER INB username and password. If someone forgets their password they need to call OPS and it is the same password as the Banner INB and needs to be changed in BanSECR (Banner Security). The login to eprint for these repositories only is the Banner INB login and password and will ALWAYS be the same.
The Plus Eprint Repositories which are:
- FRS
- HRS
- LMS
- Student Information System
All used the Plus login to the HRS, FRS, SIS, LMS systems which was usually a 4 number and a password. These need to be changed on eprint (previously were changed in the Plus ZSS system but now need to be managed over on the eprint side). These WILL NOT SYNC to your Banner INB username or will the password be in sync with Banner INB password either.
The TTU Banner Academics Eprint Repository
Is used for the Academic Departments to access sql and other reports on eprint. These are not Banner INB objects therefore cannot be handled within the Banner Repositories as listed above and with Banner security. These username and passwords need to be managed on the eprint side as well. Access to the TTU Banner Academics repository is handled per request to OPS with the person's active directory username (ie. jwsmith) and then the password can be set there.
NOTE: When calling OPS (#3388) to reset an eprint password, you MUST specify the Repository. Each repository has a separate login even though they all show in the same pull-down box.
