Description - PREP is a summer enrichment program for African-American college students who are considering a professional health career. The primary goal of this program is to increase the number of African-Americans applying to & gaining entrance into professional health schools. It is accomplished through a rigorous schedule that strengthens participants' basic science foundation, enhances their academic & reasoning skills, & provides pre-professional career information and guidance. Program provides housing @ ETSU campus, & stipends to cover meals & personal expenses. Limited travel allowances are also available to assist in transpo to & from the program.
