TIME SERVED ON BOARD OF TRUSTEES
This is my fourth year serving on the Board of Trustees.
DECISION TO SERVE ON THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
I chose to serve on the board of trustees because many parents are also TTU alumni, and some of our programs overlap.
THE IMPORTANCE OF THE TTUPA TO TTU
TTUPA is important to TTU because parents are a major constituency group for the university and should be kept up to date at what's happening at their child's school.
STRUGGLES FOR PARENTS WITH COLLEGE STUDENTS
Where to draw the line between "helicopter parent" and allowing their children independence to grow into adults. Communication between the university, student, and parent is key.
