In addition to the current electronic payment methods of Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. ECheck is available to students and parents. You are now able to pay your student account using your checking account via the web. Due to significant expense to the University associated with the acceptance of credit card payments, we strongly encourage you to use Web Check in lieu of paying by credit card.
Late Registration Fee
Please make every effort to complete the registration process including payment and/or confirmation by the published deadline each semester to avoid the $100 Late Registration Fee.
Late registration will be assessed for summer fee payments and confirmations made after indicated deadline unless courses selected are second session only. Late registration will be assessed for second term summer fee payments and confirmation made after the day before classes begin.
New Course and Lab Fees
The University now incorporates an Engineering Course Fee of $20 per credit hour (applicable to all courses taught in the College of Engineering only), a Business Course Fee of $25 per credit hour (applicable to all courses taught in the College of Business only) and a Laboratory Consumables Fee payable by all students registered in applicable classes. The laboratory fee for a Freshmen/Sophomore level class is $10 per course and the fee for a Junior/Senior level course is $15 per course.
Fee Rates and Billings
For Spring 05, if you pre-registered before the applicable date, a billing reminder will be mailed to you. If you pre-register after the specified date or during regular registration, you will not receive a billing reminder. Fees may be paid and enrollment confirmed via the web, by mail, or directly with the Business Office. Effective Summer 05, postcard billing reminders will no longer be mailed. Students who pre-register will receive email reminders only.
TTU E-mail
In order to be well informed, it is critical that all students routinely review their University e-mail. The Business Office uses this e-mail to alert students to new procedures, to update fee information, as a reminder of approaching deadlines, and for periodic billing notices.
Payment/Confirmation Deadlines
You must confirm your schedule or registration fees must be paid in full, or other payment arrangements approved, by the applicable deadlines to avoid schedule cancellation. Payment of fees automatically confirms enrollment.
Even if your fees are fully covered by a scholarship or financial aid with no payment due from you, you must still confirm your schedule via the web.
