NSF Funding Supports Dissemination

The National Science Foundation is supporting efforts to disseminate the CAT instrument to a diverse group of institutions across the country. This support will allow the development and implementation of 4 train-the-trainer workshops to prepare representatives from 20 institutions to lead scoring workshops for the CAT instrument at their own institution over the next 3 years (2007-2010).

We are also creating additional self-supporting workshops to accommodate additional institutions that have an interest in using the CAT instrument.

These workshops will prepare representatives from each institution to use the CAT instrument and lead scoring workshops on their own campus to engage faculty in assessing and improving student learning.
