Mix It Up At Lunch is designed to bring people together, no matter their backgrounds, by hosting a lunch where those who attend are encouraged to interact with people who are different from themselves.
Guest Speaker, Esther Bauer lived in Hamburg, Germany with her family during the rise of the Nazi Party. She survived the ghettos, Auschwitz and various labor camps before being liberated by Allied troops in 1945. Following her release, Bauer vowed to "live each day, have fun and be a human being."

Tuesday, Nov. 26 4:30pm Gallery Talk/Reception
My current body of work explores the mental and emotional drama of my inner life, particularly through the use of the figure in costume and the self-portrait. I view the canvas or paper as a place where I can sort through deeper issues by playfully interweaving childhood memories, dream imagery, myths, pop-culture icons, Freudian symbols, Jungian archetypes, food, and other objects of personal significance.
