Ph.D. Program

Welcome to the graduate program in Chemical Engineering at Tennessee Tech University. Our department offers a Ph.D. in Engineering with a concentration in Chemical Engineering.

In addition to performing guided research in selected research topics, our Ph.D. students participate in a wide range of scholarly activities - publishing peer-reviewed research articles as primary authors, presenting papers and posters in national and international research and educational conferences, designing and fabricating new laboratories, participating in research proposals and mentoring undergraduate and M.S. students. Our Ph.D. students are professionally trained to work and think independently to succeed in an industrial or academic environment.

All Ph.D. students are eligible for a full assistantship offered by the department, faculty or their associated centers.
