Sciences Pre-Professional Program
All the courses required or recommended for pre-professionals are evaluated continually to make certain our students are well prepared. The science courses in particular will help prepare students for required aptitude tests (MCAT, DAT, PCAT, OAT).
The vast majority of qualified pre-professional majors from Tennessee Tech are accepted into professional schools in Tennessee or elsewhere.
All pre-professional majors must take certain courses required for admission to professional schools while at Tennessee Tech, but they may pursue any major in order to work toward a degree.
Students in certain pre-professional health science areas have the option of obtaining a B.S. from Tennessee Tech University degree by completing three years at Tennessee TTU and one year at a professional school, providing they are admitted into a clinical program after the third year of undergraduate work.
