Why
Jumpstart?
We at Tennessee Tech want to help you reach your goals
as you begin your college career. One of the common roadblocks students
face in college is success in chemistry—especially those students
who major in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math).
It’s not usually the chemistry that students find problematic,
but more likely the application of math in chemistry that causes
the problem. We want to help you overcome that hurdle so you’ll
be successful in achieving your goals.
In this program, you not only will jumpstart your college
classes, your relationships with faculty and your familiarity with
the campus,
but also you will reap the benefits of being a college student.
Come meet your new friends before thousands of students hit the
campus in the
Fall. Learn about college life and what it takes to succeed. After
you’ve finished your homework, hit the Fitness Center, Swoops
Grill or The Perch coffee shop. Play some tennis or shoot some
hoops. Get a head start with Jumpstart!
