Steps to register for Chemistry Course or Jumpstart College

Step 1 - Update your term of entry
	By calling or sending e-mail to the Admissions Office, you can update your term of entry from Fall 2007 to Summer 2007. You will not be able to register for a summer class unless you are admitted for the summer term. Call (800) 255-8881 or e-mail your full name, address and date of birth to admissions@tntech.edu and request that your term of entry be changed to summer.
Step 2 - Sign up for SOAR
	First, you need to sign up for an April or June SOAR session. (If you have questions concerning SOAR, please e-mail soar@tntech.edu). When meeting with your academic advisor at SOAR, be sure to tell him or her that you would like to register for the summer Jumpstart courses. Note: You must register for summer courses before registering for fall courses. A Jumpstart representative will be available to answer your questions during SOAR check-in. You can contact Dr. Jeffrey O. Boles for additional information and assistance before or during your SOAR session (931-372-3416).
Step 3 - Update or complete your housing reservation
	If you are planning to live on campus during Jumpstart, you’ll need to arrange for second summer term housing through the Office of Residential Life. You can contact them at reslife@tntech.edu or toll free 800-268-0240.
