Johnson Hall is the home of the College of Business and its four academic units—Accounting and Business Law; Economics, Finance, and Marketing; Decision Sciences and Management; and MBA Studies. In addition, the building includes two centers of excellence, a small business development center, a student success center, and an award-winning media center.

In the last decade, the college has undergone a major renovation campaign.  Through the generous support of our alumni and friends, we have been able to update most of our classrooms and other common areas.

For business students’ social, academic, and professional growth, the building has two student lounges, state-of-the-art classrooms, and a professional clothes closet.  The Heidtke Training Room, which allows finance students to simulate the activities of a real-life investment firm, opened in April 2010.  The Don Ervin Auditorium seats 150 for large events.

The building was erected in 1970 and was formally named for Louis Johnson, the founding dean of the college, in 1975.
