  • The college was recently reaffirmed as one of only 20% of all Colleges of Business in the country that are fully accredited in both Business and Accounting by AACSB, the premier business school accrediting agency
  • The college strives to produce academic-prepared polished professionals through our Student-to-Career Program.  One aspect of the program is our Business Professional Clothes Closet where business students can receive professional attire for interviews and other professional endeavors at no cost.
  • Each year our college provides over $170,000 in scholarships to deserving College of Business Students.

  • Our students are given the opportunity to serve Putnam County and the Upper Cumberlands throughout their courses in the College of Business from their freshman introduction to college class to their senior-level capstone class.  In addition, our faculty and staff are members of community service organizations such as Rotary, Lions, and Kiwanis clubs as well as local, national, and international professional organizations.
  • The college employs thirty-five (35) tenure-track professors who are well-qualified in their respective areas, and all are interested in student’s development both as a student and as a person.
  • The College of Business was included in Peterson's publication of the “300 Best Business Schools in the World,” based on the quality of programs and survey feedback from students.
  • The Distance MBA Program has been named one of the “Best Buys” by geteducated.com.
  • Our Department of Accounting has a thriving program of continuing education for practitioners.  Currently 22 hours of continuing education is offered on campus each year.
  • Our computer forensics class, one of the most popular among our undergraduate students, teaches our students how to acquire, process, and analyze digital trace evidence for criminal, civil, and violations of corporate policies.
  • The College of Business Board of Trustees sponsors regionally, nationally, and international known speakers to campus through the our Distinguished Lecture Series.
