CLEP

The College Level Examination Program, or CLEP, tests allow you to earn college credit by taking exams instead of taking classes. If your scores are high enough, you can complete your college degree in less time than the traditional college student. Go to http://www.tntech.edu/ugcat/html/clep.asp  to determine what classes you can potentially CLEP out of at TTU. Students who are interested in taking a CLEP exam with an optional essay should contact the Counseling Center for the dates of those exams.  

The TTU Counseling Center administers the CLEP tests for a fee of $15.00 per test. In addition, you will pay $65.00 to CLEP for each test you choose to take.
