MAT

The Miller Analogies Test is a computer-based test that requires you to solve word analogy problems. You will have 60 minutes to respond to 120 analogy problems. Several TTU graduate programs require the MAT as part of the admissions process. You should check with your graduate program to see what score they require for admission. An MAT Candidate Information Booklet is available in the TTU Counseling Center or online at the MAT web site: www.milleranalogies.com.

The MAT costs $70.00. Your check should be made payable to Tennessee Tech University and mailed to the TTU Counseling Center with your completed MAT registration form (pdf). Please note that you will not be registered for the exam until you return both the form and payment to the TTU Counseling Center. You will receive a confirmation letter in the mail to indicate that you are registered for the exam on a certain date. Please call (931) 372-3331 for more information about the MAT.
