Help Sessions
The Counseling Center is responding to TTU students' needs for career development and study skills help by launching Help Sessions. These Help Sessions will take place each semester and pre-registration is required. You may register in advance for any of our Help Sessions by calling 931-372-3331. All Help Sessions are free of charge and are available to currently enrolled and registered TTU students only.
The Career Development Help Sessions are designed to assist students with career inventory needs, choosing a major, and narrowing down career fields in which they are interested. The Study Skills Help Sessions allow students to receive in-depth assistance in building their study skills.
Ideally, all students who pre-register for these Help Sessions should come prepared to the sessions with a list of specific areas in which they need assistance. Students who are unsure what they need help with should call 931-372-3331 to schedule an individual appointment with a counselor. During that appointment, the counselor will assist the student in determining his or her specific needs in career development or study skills development and can then facilitate a referral to the appropriate Help Session.
Depending on demand, additional Help Sessions in Career Development and/or Study Skills may be added during the course of the semester.
