The BFA degree concentrations in clay, fibers, glass, metals and wood feature a contemporary approach to fine craft built on traditional techniques. Our students are prepared for professional careers in these craft media. TTU also offer BFA concentrations in painting and art education on the main campus.
Students become proficient in the materials, processes, and techniques used by professional craft artists, and develop confidence in the use of tools and equipment in a studio environment.
The measure of accomplishment is the BFA thesis exhibition, requiring high standards of professionalism in preparation, design, and execution. The ultimate reflection of accomplishment is our students' consistent record of success beyond graduation.
Students attend general education and art foundation courses on the main campus of Tennessee Tech University in Cookeville, Tennessee (approximately 25 minutes east of the Craft Center).
Accredited by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD) and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS).
