The Appalachian Center for Craft, a satellite campus
of Tennessee Tech University, promotes excellence in American craft by teaching tradition and innovation in technique, concept and design.

TTU offers five Bachelor of Fine Arts degree concentrations in fine craft: clay, fibers, glass, metals, and wood. BFA concentrations in art education and painting are available in TTU's main campus in Cookeville, Tennessee.

The BFA degree is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD) and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS).

The degree features a contemporary approach to fine craft built on traditional techniques. Our students become proficient in the materials, processes, and techniques used by professional craft artists.

The measure of accomplishment is the BFA senior thesis exhibition, requiring high standards of professionalism in preparation, design and execution.
