Hands-on Art/Craft Experience for Elementary
School Students (6th grade)
This program brings over 1,000 sixth graders
to the Craft Center on Fridays each fall.
The students
experience demonstrations and hands-on projects in clay mask making, enameling on copper, and color theory/paper marbling. |
Focus on Fine Craft Program
(7th -12th grades)
This program brings over 600 7th -12th graders to the Craft Center on Fridays in the spring semester.
These students select from seven intensive 3.5 hour craft workshops including: wheel thrown ceramics, glass etching & sandblasting, copper fabrication, glass bead making, enameling on copper, woodturning, and Japanese shibori/tie-dye.
