Educational Outreach Programs
The Appalachian Center for Craft provides educational outreach programs to 3,500+ children in the Upper Cumberland Region each year. These programs host students in the Craft Center facilities for lecture/demonstrations and hands-on projects in the studios.

Focus on Fine Craft (7th-12th grades)
Students select from seven intensive 3.5 hour craft workshops including: wheel thrown ceramics, glass etching & sandblasting, copper fabrication, glass bead making, enameling on copper, woodturning, and Japanese shibori/tie-dye.

A program funded by the Tennessee General Assembly and administered in cooperation with the Tennessee Arts Commission the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee, and designated agencies throughout Tennessee.
