After learning the basic cylinder, explore other functional forms, including mugs, bowls, bottles and vases. Discuss other technical aspects including glazes and firing. If you like to get dirty and have fun this class is for you! Beginning

John Sellberg, a graduate of the Appalachian Center for Craft, is a studio potter producing a line of functional, porcelain pottery.

Bowls, Bowls & More Bowls

Delve into the depths of the bowl and its form in relation to function. Explore surfacing and altering techniques. Intermediate*-Advanced (*students should be able to center 5-10 lbs of clay)
