Registration
Age & Cancellation Policies

• Print, complete, and mail or fax the
Summer Workshop Registration Form from this site.

• Complete the Workshop Registration Card (on the back of the printed summer workshop catalog) and mail or fax it to the Craft Center.

Age Policy
Participants must be 18 years of age or older to participate in the workshop program.

Cancellation Policies
The Craft Center can issue a refund of the 50% deposit (minus the $50 non-refundable processing fee) if a workshop participant cancels the registration 15 business days prior to the first day of the workshop.

• After that date, the Craft Center cannot offer a refund and cannot transfer fees to another workshop due to faculty contracts, travel arrangements, and material acquisitions.

• If the Craft Center cancels a workshop, a full refund will be issued.

Workshop Deposit

Workshop Hours

• A 50% deposit of the workshop fee is required to reserve space in a workshop.

• The workshop fee includes a $50 non-refundable processing fee, per workshop.

• A $50 transfer fee is assessed for transferring to another workshop.

• The balance of the workshop fee is due no later than 15 business days prior to the first day of the workshop.

• Check-in on Sunday afternoon from 2pm-5pm and on Monday morning from 8am-8:45am (central).

• Monday-Friday, 9am to 4pm.

• Afternoon slide lectures and/or demos are presented by workshop instructors at 4:30pm and are open to all workshop participants.

• Studios are open in the evening, at the discretion of the workshop instructor, until 10:30pm.
Room & Board
Travel Information

• Fee for room & board is $315.

• 5 nights/Sunday-Thursday; no single rooms available. All rooms have air conditioning.

• 15 meals (Sunday dinner, Monday-Thursday breakfast, lunch and dinner, and Friday breakfast and lunch) in the walkway café.

• In order to reserve space in housing, a 50% deposit of the room & board fee ($157.50) must accompany the workshop registration.

• The balance of the room & board fee is due no later than 15 business days prior to the first day of the workshop.

• Each room has:
- Two twin beds and a walk-in closet
- Bathroom and shower
- Linens (pillows/blankets/sheets/towels)

• Housing is limited to workshop participants only.

• Pets are not allowed.

• A list of local accommodations, including campsites, is included in the confirmation packet.

Directions from Interstate 40
The Craft Center is located approx. 60 miles east of Nashville, Tennessee and 120 miles west of Knoxville, Tennessee off Interstate 40.

From I-40, take Exit 273 (Smithville/McMinnville) onto Hwy 56 South for 6 miles. Cross Hurricane Bridge over Center Hill Lake, turn left at the Craft Center sign; follow this drive to the Craft Center.


Nashville International Airport
Nashville International is approx. 1 hour and 15 minutes west of the Craft Center off I-40.

Transportation from the Airport
Travel arrangements to and from the Craft Center are the responsibility of the workshop participant.

Supplies & Materials Fees

Walkway Café

• Workshop participants will receive a detailed materials list with their confirmation packets.

• Some workshops have Materials Fees payable directly to the instructor. These fees cover the cost of materials and/or kits provided by the workshop instructor.

• Materials are included in the workshop fee for some classes; see workshop descriptions for specifics.

Enjoy the walkway café for breakfast, lunch and dinner during summer workshops. Hours (June 2 - August 1):

• 8am - 9am (breakfast / Mon. - Fri.)

• 12pm - 1pm (lunch / Mon. - Fri.)

• 5:30pm - 6:30pm (dinner / Sun. - Thurs.)
