Hinged Boxes with Locking Closures

Learn to fabricate small-hinged silver boxes with spring-locking closures. Focus on technical how-to’s and explore individual artistic design interpretation and style. Included are: box design and construction, soldering and assembly techniques, hinge construction and making spring-locking closures. Create a series of bracelets and collars from sheet metal (nugold, silver or copper). Experiment with ways to add texture and change the form of a metal pattern with the rolling mill.
