Electrical and Computer Engineering 
With support from industries and friends, the department has been able to offer a number of scholarships to upper division ECE students. These scholarships have been offered the past few years:
- Professor Childress Endowment Scholarship Award
- Eta Kappa Nu Scholarship Award
- Class of 1957 Scholarship Award
- Southern Company Services - Excellence in Electric Power Award
- Square-D Excellence in Electric Power Award
- TVA Upperclassman Scholarship Award (to socially or economically disadvantaged students who pursue Power emphasis in electrical engineering)
