How to Apply

For Undergraduates

Choose Undergraduate Admission if you have not earned a bachelors degree before. Students who enroll in EDP as an undergraduate will be admitted as a special, non-degree seeking student, but they will earn a grade for the course.

Admission to TTU Undergraduate Studies

  • Go to Eagle Online/Banner
  • Click on "Apply for Admission/Check Application Status" on the first two pages.
  • At the Admissions Login page, click "First Time User Account Creation"
  • Create an Admissions Login ID and Admission PIN. (Be sure and remember this Admission Login and Admission PIN, as you can use it to check your application status online)
  • For "Application Type", choose "Undergraduate EDP".
  • Complete the various sections of the application. (Your major will automatically be selected as "Non-Degree/Special Programs".)
  • When all sections are complete, click "Application is Complete" to submit your application. You will then see an "Acknowledgment and Confirmation Page". Be sure to print and read this for further instructions on paying the required $15.00 application fee and contact information.

You will receive letters from the Admission Office at the permanent address (or mailing address if provided) you supply on the application. Your first letter will provide you a Tech ID Number. Be sure to remember this ID as this is your student ID while at TTU. Once an admission decision is made, another letter will be mailed to you with your PIN to use along with your Tech ID Number.

For Graduates

Choose Graduate Admission if you have earned at least a bachelor’s degree. Students who enroll in the Graduate Educator Development Program as a graduate will be admitted as a student in the Master of Arts program majoring in Curriculum and Instruction (concentration Curriculum).

Admission to TTU Graduate Studies

If you have not previously been admitted to Graduate Studies at TTU, enter Eagle Online

  • Apply for Admission:
    • Select "Apply for Admission/Check Application Status" on the first two menus
    • Select "First time user account creation" where you will create your own Login ID and PIN
    • Select Application Type of "Graduate Educator Dev Program"
    • You will then be led through several sections that ask for your name, addresses, personal information, etc.
    • Select "Curriculum and Instruction" for your major.THEN click on CONTINUE. Select "Curriculum" as your concentration
    • You will then complete the section on previous college, additional information
    • Once all sections are complete, click on "APPLICATION IS COMPLETE"
    • You will see an Acknowledgment Page with additional instructions/information on paying the application fee, checking your status, etc.
    • You will be required to pay the application fee and have your official transcripts submitted to Graduate Studies before you can be admitted
  • Admission
    • You will receive your Certificate of Admission by email.This Certificate will contain your Student ID Number (T Number) and your LOGIN PIN as well as information on whom to contact to acquire your ALTERNATE PIN (registration access code) which will be needed to gain access to Registration.
    • If all required items are not on file for admission, you will be notified of missing items by email.
  • Provide documentation of two (2) doses of the MMR vaccine if you plan to register for more than 8 hours in the semester.
  • Contact Amy Wilmoth ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it ) or 931-372-3181 to receive your ALTERNATE PIN (registration access code). If you are registering for additional courses, you will have to be advised before receiving the Alternate PIN.
  • Use your T Number and LOGIN PIN to enter Eagle Online to register.You will then be required to change your LOGIN PIN and set up a security question.
  • Complete the Hepatitis B/Meningitis questions during the Registration Process.

Readmission to TTU Graduate Studies

If you have previously been admitted to Graduate Studies at TTU but were not enrolled in Spring or Summer 2009 (OR graduated during those terms), you must apply for readmission through Eagle Online

  • Apply for Readmission:
    • Select "Apply for Admission/Check Application Status" on the first two menus
    • Select "First time user account creation" where you will create your own Login ID and PIN
    • Select Application Type of "Graduate Educator Dev Program"
    • You will then be led through several sections that ask for your name, addresses, personal information, etc. (Your major will automatically be selected.)
    • You will then complete the section on previous college, additional information
    • Once all sections are complete, click on "APPLICATION IS COMPLETE"
    • You will see an Acknowledgment Page with additional instructions/information on checking your status, etc.
  • Admission
