College of Education 
Teacher education has been a vital part of Tennessee Tech University since 1915, but the College of Education is broader than a traditional college.
Here you’ll find the departments of Curriculum and Instruction, Health and Physical Education, Music and Art, Counseling and Psychology and the Academic Development Program. You’ll also find the Appalachian Center for Craft under our umbrella.
The Office of Teacher Education coordinates a viable program leading to licensure in 35 academic programs. The college also offers a doctoral degree in exceptional learning. Using the latest technology in the classroom is a core focus for us, supported by our Learning Resource Center.
