Paramedic Courses

Tennessee Technological University is accredited by the Commission on Accredition of Allied Health Education Programs (www.caahep.org) upon the recommendation of the Committee on Accreditation of Educational Programs for the Emergency Medical Services Professions.

This course is offered annually with the application process beginning every Spring. The full course starts every August. This course is 1025 hours in length.

Lecture hours:

The paramedic course is divided into 425 hours of didactic and laboratory training and 600 hours of clinical training. The course is 3 semesters in length spread over 11 months.

Introductory Course:

This is a course not currently offered. It will be revamped and will probably be required in the summer of 2013. More information will be posted at a later date.
