Flavious Smith Outstanding Alumnus Award
Must have a BS or MA degree in HPE from TTU.
Must have graduated at least ten years before induction.
Must not have been a TTU faculty member for a period of five years before induction.
Must have achieved prominence in his/her chosen career (not necessarily education).
Must have made other significant contributions to society.
Raymond Drost Memorial Endowed Scholarship
Must be a current undergraduate student in good standing in accordance with current institutional policies
Must be a health and physical education major with a QPA of at least 2.75
Must have had active participation in the TTU intramural program (playing or working)
May be required to interview with Department of Health and Physical Education personnel.
Raymond (Bull) Brown ScholarshipCriteria
Must be a prospective or current student in good standing in accordance with current institutional policies.
Must be a senior pursuing a major in Health and Physical Education
Must have a minimum GPA of 2.75.
Elsie Jobe and Jewell Nolen Memorial Scholarship
Must be a current graduate student fully admitted and in good standing in accordance with current institutional policies.
Must have a minimum 3.5 QPA based on 9 hours of graduate credit in the program of study for the Masters Degree in Health and Physical Education.
Must submit current vitae.
Must submit a written statement describing how the scholarship would be of benefit to professional goals.
Must be present for a personal interview if requested.Other items to be taken under consideration will be professional commitment, a positive professional image, participation in the Health and Physical Education Majors Club and a record of public service.
Bill and Suzanne Worrell Scholarship Endowment
Must be a full-time undergraduate student in good standing in accordance with current institutional policies.
Must be classified as a sophomore or above and have a cumulative GPA of 2.75 in the major field(s).
Must have a desire to coach women’s basketball. If no student is available who meets this criteria, then the recipient may be someone with a desire to coach men’s basketball. If no student is available who meets either criteria, then the recipient may be anyone interested in the coaching profession.
Flippen Endowded Scholarship
Must be a prospective or current student in good standing in accordance with current institutional policies.
Must have a declared major in a degree within the Exercise Science, Physical Education and Wellness Program.
Must demonstrate financial need. As a freshman scholarship, student Must have a high school GPA of 2.75 or higher, as a collegiate scholarship, student.
Must have a college GPA of 2.75 or higher at the end of the academic year to receive or maintain the scholarship.Must be a U. S. citizen with preference given to citizens of Tennessee or Kentucky.
