As a new college freshman, you might be asking, "How will I know who my advisor is?", "Where will my classes be?", "What will my classes be for the Fall?", and a multitude of others. The Office of Orientation and Student Success has created SOAR (Student Orientation, Advisement, & Registration) just for you. It's an opportunity to learn more about Tennessee Tech, meet your advisor, register for classes, meet new friends, and start your college career.
SOAR sessions are available for new incoming first year freshman students and the two-day program allows you to find answers to all of your questions while becoming familiar with the campus. To receive an invitation to SOAR, you'll need to be admitted to Tennessee Tech University for the Fall 2013 semester. Look for your SOAR invitation in your mailbox at the end of the Spring semester prior to your Fall start at TTU.
