Lodging during SOAR
During the Freshman Summer SOAR sessions (excluding the August session), a residence hall will be open for overnight lodging for an additional fee as listed below (rates and availability are subject to change). You will be able to request on-campus lodging when completing your reservation for SOAR. Payment for on-campus housing will be accepted online by using a credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover) or an authorized Visa/MasterCard debit card.
|Room Type||Fee per Individual|
|Private Occupancy (Only available for guests)||$25|
The cost for overnight lodging in the residence halls includes linens for each bed (sheets and pillowcase), a pillow for each bed, and a towel and washcloth for each person.
If you have selected SOAR On-Campus Lodging on your reservation, please arrive prior to SOAR check-in to receive your residence hall room key. Check-in for on-campus lodging is located in New Hall South lobby (see Campus Map) and begins at 8:00 am Central on the first day of your reserved SOAR session. This will allow students who need to complete pre-SOAR tests (COMPASS or Math Placement Tests) to check in prior to testing. *Students will be notified via email if they are required to complete any pre-SOAR tests.
Students will be housed with other students of the same gender, separate from their guests. Students may make a request on the reservation form to room with another student who is attending the same session and is of the same gender.
Guests (parents, etc) may make a request on the reservation form to room with another guest (ex. spouse or another guest). The lodging fee is required for each guest staying on-campus overnight regardless of age. *Limit 2 guests per room.
