Bartoo Hall

Bartoo Hall is named for Dorr R. Bartoo, head of the Tennessee Tech Biology Department from 1929 to 1943. Constructed in 1916 to serve as a men's dormitory, it was originally named West Hall. It later housed the Biology Department, and is now the location of the Department of Curriculum and Instruction. It also houses a Learning Resources Center and educational support services.

Parking: Accessible parking is located on the South Side of the building on a concrete pad. The parking is van accessible.

Entrances: There is an accessible entrance on the South side of the building at the bottom of a ramp. The entrance has an automatic door opener.

Elevators: The elevator is located on the South side of the building. The elevator accesses all 3 floors of the building.

Stairs: Stairs are located on both the North and South sides of the building giving access to all 3 floors.

Restrooms: Restrooms in the basement are not completely accessible.

Rescue Assistance: There is an emergency phone in the elevator cab. There is an outside emergency phone just South of the building.
