Roaden University Center Avenue Constructed in 1971, the Roaden University Center houses the central dining rooms, including a cafeteria and a grill, the Post Office, bookstore, Mini-Market, and various recreational facilities, conference rooms, and offices. Named in honor of former TTU President Arliss Roaden, the "RUC" is also the location of the University Art Gallery, Student Government Association, WTTU-FM, and the offices of Public Affairs, Career Services, Financial Aid, the Mini Mart, Student Activities and Campus Life, Student Affairs, and Disability Services. | Accessibility Information: Number of Floors: 4 Parking: Accessible parking is located on the West side of the building and at the front of the building on the Southeast side. Entrances: There are 3 accessible entrances to the building. One is at the West basement entrance, one is off the south patio area, and the other is off the north patio area. All 3 entrances have automatic door openers. Elevators: The building has 2 elevators located on the South side of the building. The elevator accesses all 4 levels of the building. Stairs: The building has 3 main stairways. The main stairway is a circular type located in the center of the building that accesses the 1st three floors. The other two stairways are located in the North and South of the building. These stairways access the 2nd through the 4th floors. Restrooms: There are 8 accessible restrooms in the building. Two are located on each level of the building. Rescue Assistance: Emergency phones are located inside each elevator cab. Go to Campus
