General Education Committee

The initial membership of the TTU General Education Committee was established by Provost Barker in summer 2002 and was slightly expanded when President Bell identified it as a subcommittee of the TTU Curriculum Committee in January 2003.  The members were assigned one-year terms, renewable.

The Dean of Arts and Sciences chairs and serves as a permanent member of the committee.  Other appointments will be made by the President upon recommendations of the Provost/Vice President based on recommendations by the Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences.  Members will serve three-year, renewable terms, staggered so that a third of the Committee is replaced or renewed each year.  Current membership is reflected in the table below.
