Requirements for the TTU Golden Girls Dance Team
- Right/Left/Center splits
- Heel Stretches
- Pirouettes (turns)
- Leap in 2nd position
- Switch leap of choice
- Toe Touch
- C-jump
- Front Leg Extensions
- Pique Turns
- Fouette Turns
- Grand Jete Series (straight leaps)
- Right / Left kicks
Dancers will learn two short dances one jazz and one hip hop.

Attire for tryouts: all dancers auditioning need to wear a sports bra (long or 1⁄2 & shorts (no baggy loose clothing).

Saturday June 5th
8:00-9:15am Stretch
8:15-8:45am Technique demonstration
8:45-9:30am Hip Hop audition piece
9:30-10:30am Jazz audition piece
10:30-11:00am Review
11:00-11:30am Lunch
11:30-12:30pm Open practice & review
12:30pm Interviews while others review & practice
1pm-2pm Technique evaluations
2m-3pm Jazz evaluations
3pm-4pm Hip Hop evaluations
Results will be posted online Saturday immediately following tryouts. There will be a mandatory meeting on June 5th @ 6pm for all members of the 20010-11 TTU Golden Girls Dance Team.
