The Master of Science degree program in Biology at Tennessee Tech prepares graduates for high-level careers in various areas of biology. You'll have the option of selecting from a variety of thesis research topics based upon the faculty's individual research interests. Extramural grants and contracts support the thesis research of more than 50 graduate students in the Department of Biology, which hosts the Tennessee Cooperative Fishery Research Unit, the only federally funded research unit of its kind in the state. In addition, the department works closely with another research unit, the Water Resources Center of Excellence, which is also housed on campus.
