Delta Theta
Friendship, sound learning, and moral rectitude are
the three cardinal principals that Phi Delta Theta is based around.
These ideas help enrich the college career by providing a place
to learn about fraternity life and the benefits therein. The Brothers
of the Tennessee Delta Chapter are extremely active in campus activities
and social outings, and participate in all the IFC sports. Each
spring they hold All Sing, which consists of a banner contest, karaoke
contest, a penny drop, and a stage show, where all the money raised
goes to the Lou Gehrig Foundation. Phi Delta Theta is an international
fraternity, consisting of over 195,000 active members and 190 chapters
in the United States and Canada. Local facilities range from a state
of the art computer room, televisions all over the house, gaming
tables such as pool and fooz ball, to an outside volleyball court
and basketball area. They have a scholarship/study program, as well
as scholarships which are awarded yearly for academic excellence.
