Q - Do I need an appointment to be seen?
Yes, we have a new electronic sytem in place now. Everyone is seen by appointment only. Please call 931-372-6039/3320 to schedule an appointment.
Q - Is there a cost for a visit?
No, office visits are free for students. There is an initial $20.00 office visit for faculty/staff per semester, follow-ups are free. Medicine and lab tests are at cost.
Q - Do you take Debit or Eagle Cards?
We acccept (Visa, Master Card, America Express and Discover). We accept Eagle Cards (only if there is cash added to the eagle card, not flex dollars).
Q - Do you see patients other than students?
Yes, aside from seeing students, we now see faculty/staff.
Q - Do you file insurance?
Yes, Insurance that is purchased thru the university only (Pearce and Pearce). Other accepted methods of payments are cash, check, credit card, eagle cards or a student may charge their school account.
Q - Can I get birth control pills there?
Yes, we offer women's health now by appointment only. There is a $10 non-cancellation fee. Condoms are available at no charge.
Q - Can I get copy of shot records?
Yes, we only keep medical records for 10 years.
Q - Can I have a note for class?
Class excuses are left up to each individual teacher. Notes may be given to students with a communicable disease.
Q - How do I get my medication?
We dispense most medications ordered by our practitioners. We can call prescriptions to a retail pharmacy upon request.
Q - What are your office hours?
Monday- Friday 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
