Just as the leaves are turning and the air is filled
with a bit of a chill, the aromas begin to rise from South Hall.
Students enrolled in the Quantity Food Production class plan menus
and purchase orders; procure foods; become certified
in food safety and handling; prepare and cook foods; and at last,
serve the most savory of meals to be found on the campus on each
Friday in the Fall semester!
The goal of South Hall Friday Cafe is educational rather
than for profit. Students assume the responsibilities under the guidance
of faculty member, Melinda Anderson, Ph.D, RD.

Fall Semester, 2008
Friday Cafe will be offered on the following dates:
September 26
October 3, 10, 17, and 31
November 7, 14, and 21
The single meal cost this semester will be $7.00.
MENUS and RESERVATION INFORMATION will be posted at
the beginning of each Fall semester. The students and Dr. Anderson
welcome administrators, faculty, staff, students, and community to the South Hall Friday Cafe´.
