The stages of development of the individual and family are studied including an in-depth study of the relationships that human beings form.

Some career titles are Child Care Center Director, Children Services Agent, Child Life Specialist, Care Facilities Coordinator, Teacher-specialist, Foster and Adoption Facilitator, and Recreations Specialist.
