Food, Nutrition and Dietetics - Food Systems Administration Option (HEFO)

The Foods Systems Administration option prepares students for employment in the nation's third largest industry, food service. Hands-on experience is gained through the student operated South Hall Friday Cafe´ and field experiences in local and national food companies.

Careers

Graduates of the FSA option in HEFO are employed in a variety of positions within the complex food industry. Examples of position titles include chef, manager, sales representative, health / nutrition consultant, extension agent, food researcher, and menu planner and analyst. FSA graduates are sought after in the health, food and education industries.
