Mission
The School of Human Ecology prepares students for careers, advancement, and lifelong learning in the global economy through concentrated studies, research, and service in child development and family relations; family and consumer sciences education; food, nutrition and dietetics; housing and design; and merchandising and design. The School of Human Ecology is committed to inclusion and diversity and serves individuals, families, and communities from throughout the world, nation, and state. The School holds a special commitment to the Upper Cumberland region of Tennessee.
